nin90If you’re going to see Nine Inch Nails and Jane’s Addiction at 02 on July 15 come party with us!

Nine Inch Nails and Jane’s Addiction have teamed up for the NINJA (geddit) tour and will be playing around the UK.

For the London date, July 15, at the 02 Arena, Metal Hammer will be hosting another of our – dare we say – awesome free pre/aftershows.

From 5pm Metal Hammer and Classic Rock Magazine staff will be airing their finest tunes at Indig02 – opposite the arena in the dome. And again after the gig until 1am! The venue are also laying on some sweet drinks deals, so come on down.

Oh and did we mention, it’s free!

Sounds awesome, is the party only open to ticket holders? (have a friend who works nearby who I was going to meet up with before the gig)

Pete, you really couldn’t afford to keep us drunk. :)

This was one of the best gig’s I’ve been to! Missed Mew – got, there five minutes late before Janes were due to start, but fortunately Janes were also five minutes late. Luckily we were, sitting right at the front, so got a great view of the bands – went as a Janes fan and though they were great, I was truly blown away by the energy created from the Nin performance. Trent Reznor was going mental, obviously health and safety not at the top of his agenda. I had to laugh, that whilst trying to order the front of house, the front line security needed eyes in the back of the head in order to be mindful of any keyboard stacks being hurled off the stage by the impetuous front man. He also hurled two guitars at speed, the first flung at the back of stage, seemingly in frustration as the second song climaxed! The atmosphere was truly electric and to top it all, an impromptu appearance by Gary Newham, who charmed the 02 with two numbers, the second of course being the sublime ‘cars’. Amazing!
