No Dragonforce Shows In 2010
Why will the UK power-metallers be taking the whole of 2010 out of the public eye? Catch Dragonforce while you can on their current UK tour!
Dragonforce will not be playing any live shows in 2010 as they concentrate on getting a brand new studio release ready for 2011.
A statement from the band reads: “It is with great regret that Dragonforce have to announce the cancellation of the two shows in Tokyo that were scheduled for the beginning of March 2010. The reason for this is that at the end of the 2009 U.K. part of the ‘Ultra Beatdown World Tour’, the band will start writing a new studio album scheduled for release in 2011. They will need to focus totally on this, and unfortunately this means all live shows for 2010 have been cancelled.”

I’m thinking it’s an excuse and they’re splitting up after this tour. They cancelled a few shows earlier in the year for “personal reasons” which were never disclosed.
What a shitty thing to do! cancel tour dates for album, postpone the album fuck faces and please your fans. Not a large fan of this band although i dont hate them just saying bit of a shitty thing to do. TAKE A LEAF ON HOW DEVILDRIVER DO THINGS BOYS!
Seeing them at Inverness in a few weeks.
They were awesome LIVE at Download this year and I’m sure they’ll return to play it again in 2011.
And they’re still doing their UK portion of the tour so who are we to complain?
Haha, that’s just stupid. Cancelling the dates in Japan just to focus on a new album. They should write something that they are able to play live. Starfire, Black Fire, Through the Fire and Flames, Flame of Youth, The Fire Still Burns and of course the album Sonic Firestorm. Man, they really are creative.
