Metal Hammer production editor Vanessa Hards, our very own queen of all things industrial and cyber, has put this compilation together. Her exact quote afterwards? “Have to say, this was sooooo hard to do! How am I supposed to choose just one RevCo track?!?!”

Berzerker – Reality

Godflesh – Streetcleaner
Ministry – NWO
Pain – Shut Your Mouth
Fear Factory – Demanufacture
Nine Inch Nails – Wish
Samael – Exodus

note…. Pendulum are drum n bass not industrial – also… who the hell ever heard reggae lyrics on an industrial song? lol

Vanessa Hards

Nekro, the full title of my ‘album’ was ‘Now That’s What I Call Dirty-Goff-Cyber-Industrial-Invade-The-Dancefloor-Like-A-Panzer-Tank Choons: Volume 1′, but that wouldn’t fit in the headline so well. Pendulum may lean more towards D’n'B than industrial, but they’re heavy and you can dance like a nutjob to them and they were my main criteria when compiling this list. :-)

additonal note…..The Berzerker are a grind-core band. about as far away from industrial as you can get.

but nice choice with a Pitchshifter song. i personally would have chosen Everything’s Fucked or Dead Battery.

Ian McWilliams

What no Fear Factory.

Chris B

Good call on Emerge. Fischerspooner aren’t exactly industrial, but I love that tune. Pendulum for me would have to be Fasten Your Seatbelt or Blood Sugar, and I’d have gone for Cyanide not Blitzkrieg by Deathstars.

Broken Pixel

Type O Neg & FOTN AND Bauhahs as industrial? WTF???

Pig
Misery Loves Co.
Godflesh

Shaun C

Type O Negative aren’t industrial. They’re goth.

And no mention of Blood Stain Child? I nominate Blood Stain Child’s ‘Hyper Sonic’ to the list.

And if anyone hasen’t heard of Blood Stain Child, well, check them out on myspace. It’s a mix of In flames on speed jamming with the chemical brothers, and they’re Japanese.

Didnt think Killing Joke ‘ The Wait’ was industrial…but daaaamn its a great song!

(‘Die Motherfucker Die’ by Dope is also class)

when the fuck are we gonna get an industrial comeback? ministry rule!

Good choice of bands generally, even if not necessarily the tracks I’d go for.

If you want to go for something a bit different, I’ve also found things like…
Eisbrecher – Adrenalin
Celldweller – One good reason
…fill the floor pretty effectively when I’m doing a set.

Oh, and Powerman 5000 – Bombshell almost always gets requested.

all calls an i have a blood stained child album its good shizzle good call on addin psi i would of gone with enjoy the abuse or this 5hit will fcuk you up by combichrist you goes should spotify your lists then folk could listen to them

DJ Malice

Clawfinger?Eh!Good band but no way industrial .Some very odd choices!

Ludicrous

A bit of Punish Yourself for the French? :D
“Gay boys in bondage” is my favourite but most don’t know them!

Well, “Feuer Frei” for Rammstein would be a more powerful choice.
Good one for Manson! ;)

AnisaVonRuin
