Aright!! i guess… But it just kinda’ feels like their label before the split is cashing in. As long as the box set is perfectly done. (With B-side, rarities and more) i think a lot of people will buy it, i mean it’s fuckin’ pantera!

It depends on what will be on the boxset. I think they should throw in a live DVD to make it worthwhile.

I heard a taped version of the 2 pre-Phil era albums, it was pretty bad quality. A remastered version of them would be cool to hear but I imagine only the old-skool diehard fans would be interested.

As long as the surviving members have total control over it it should be pretty cool and not as much of a cash-in if the record company were to do it. Can’t see Phil and Vin sitting down together at a table though to work on it.

Anyone into Pantera will no doubt have all the CDs from “Cowboys…” onwards anyway so it would be cool to hear loads of really rare stuff, out takes, alternate versions. I’d love to see top-notch book included too with cool photos and info.

I’d love to get a proper Pantera live DVD. The vulgar videos are just good for a laugh, but a full concert video is what I’d much rather see.
Its a shame that 101Proof isn’t available with visuals.

Gotta put that rare shit in there. “Power Metal” has to be on there! The whole album. I think that one was better than “Cowboys”. The shit with Terrance Lee, all the rare shit – soundtrack jams, b-sides, all the Sabbath covers. Put it all in I say! I’ll buy it fo sho! A live d.v.d. would be nice as well.
p.s. Kris Dobo obviously knows nothing about REAL Metal. Just saying.

A live DVD for a start, along with remastered versions of the pre-Anselmo era Pantera would go down really well. Doubt that’ll happen though, it’ll probably be the standard “2 greatest hits CD’s, a disc of rarities and maybe a live DVD”. Let’s see what happens…
