Pantera Frontman Teams Up With Sabbath Guitarist
The duo will apparently begin recording in the UK in January with producer Rick Rubin (Slayer / System Of A Down / American Head Charge) behind the desk.
Speaking to Billboard.com, Iomi also went on to discuss the next Black Sabbath studio album for which the group – Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Iomi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass) and Bill Ward (drums) – have written six tracks.
“The tracks were good actually, I thought,” said the Tone. “Very good But we didn’t get as far as actually recording them. We demoed them.”
Apparently none of the songs have formal titles yet, other than ‘Scary Dream’ which Sabbath aired in the UK in 2001 at their secret show at the Birmingham Academy and at Ozzfest at Milton Keynes Bowl.
