Christ Inversion, the long-running side-project of former Pantera and current Down vocalist Phil Anselmo, are to finally release their debut album in October.

Anselmo formed Christ Inversion in 1994 under the pseudonym Anton Crowley to have a creative outlet for his love of black and death metal. With lyrical themes mainly based around horror movies and Satanism, Christ Inversion have only ever released two demo’s but their self-titled debut album will be released on October 28th via Housecore Records.

Phil Anselmo will also be playing shows prior to Christmas with Down supporting Metallica in the States.
