Agreed! But you can just about make him out and as usual…he is awesome

For a guy who was asked to sing with Killswitch Engage on such short notice, and for a guy who has such big shoes to fill, he certainly does a sterling job. There will probably be about a thousand people thinking “LABONTE IS GAY. HJ <3", but fact is, he does it pretty well and manages to make it look like he 'fits' into the band. And to top it off, he looks like he is having the time of his life. Hats off to the guy.

Labonte is one of my favourite vocalists in metal today.

don’t forget labonte only just lost out to howard when killswitch needed a vocalist. he’s a friend of the band, he’ll know a lot if not all of the songs, and he’s a fucking excellent vocalist in general!

however i still think all that remains are better than killswitch overall and in a way its good that labonte didnt get the job originally otherwise ATR might not have continued, much like howard seems to have shelved Blood Has Been Shed

Agreed about the comments about the band audience singers… but fair play to Labonte, for just stepping into the band i thought it was pretty amazing.

labonte is a better screamer than howard in my opinion, but not a better singer, but its good too see him step in while howards gone for whatever reason, shows true respect between bands

@ DD, Blood has Been Shed are recording the next album or at least thats what they last said a few weeks ago.

Phil is a great vocalist. if he was still in Shadows Fall or even joined Killswitch i dont think he would be as respected as he is now for All That Remains

Phil’s also one of the nicest guys in metal. he’s always up for a beer and a chat after gigs, he doesnt go around slagging people off and he gives his all when he performs. the guy deserves all the respect he gets and it shows he’s a top bloke by stepping in for howard at such short notice

i think in terms of band lineups everything has worked out well, shadows fall have progressed loads with brian fair, phil has been able to do all that remains and as much as people want jesse back in KSE, there’s fuck all wrong with the albums they’ve done with howard too
