A crazy, crazy night beckons for those who managed to beg, borrow or steal a ticket for tonight’s intimate Kiss show at Islington academy.
Just so you know, we got goosebumps just writing that sentence above.
Tonight sees the hottest band in the world turning up the heat to the kind of level that would make Satan himself reaching for an ice bucket. As revealed on Kissonline.com, Kiss soundchecked with a mammoth 16-song setlist yesterday afternoon as the prepare to blow the roof off of London’s tiny Islington academy. if they bring their full pyro, we might mean that last statement literally.

Don’t be jealous as although it was great whilst it lasted, they were late on and only played for an hour and ten minutes. Understand that in a venue like that there was no scope for pyro, but a bit of smoking guitar and some blood being spat would have been nice. Hearing that they played 16 songs at the soundcheck is just insulting to those that got their act together to get tickets
Yeh, with only 12 songs I did feel a bit short-changed … no ‘Lick It Up’, ‘Deuce’ or ‘Shout It Out Loud’ … how dare they! Still an amazing experience tho!
