Power Quest Need A Vocalist
Power metal troopers Power Quest have announced that singer Alessio Garavello will be leaving the band in September following festival commitments.
Alessio said: “We’ve passed through so many experiences and good/bad moments together that will always be part of me and of my life, and this has created a really strong friendship between us. It’s been some awesome years of recording and touring and it is sad to write these lines, but it’s for a good cause: PQ needs to be fronted by someone that really deserves to be in the first row singing those great songs. It was me for 7 years, now its time to pass the torch.”
Alessio has been with the band since 2002’s ‘Wings of Forever’ and has previously contributed rhythm guitar as well as vocals to the band’s sound.
Alessio’s departure follows that of bassist Scott Steve after he emigrated to New Zealand.
The band are now seeking replacement. If you think you’ve got the pipes for the job then all you need to do is contact founding member Steve Williams on SteveW@power-quest.co.uk.
You’ll be up against some stiff competition though as the warbling in the Hammer office attests.

i seen powerquest back in april at hammerfest 1 of the bands i was looking extremely looking forward to seeing along with dream evil and alestorm.Powerquest ruled that night they had been playing absolute top notch performance by a band that i respect alot and love.But its also stunned me that Alessio is leaving the band which will be a big loss to 1 of the best power metal bands out there
Been a fan since 2003. Alessio is a top bloke. Hope they get a decent replacement.

Just getting into them, hope they do find a good replacement. Shame there’s no chance of a final tour 
From what I’ve heard from them, they’re might fine. Let’s hope they find that replacement singer real soon.
