These lists are always bull shit, look at the “Top 20 songs of the decade” on C4 the other week, suggesting that Indie ruled the charts for the decade (hardly surprising when some twat from the NME was on the voting panel), then there’s this “official” list… Who gives a fuck what sells? Sure, the major labels won’t sign bands, but fuck them! Trent Reznor said that self-releases are the way forward, and he’s probably right to a certain degree.

I have many quarrels with the list, but my main quarrel is with Bagstar. How the hell do you not think Cheryl Cole is fit? She is the physical translation of heaven.
