the funny thing with all of this is that it showed that there are 2 types of metalhead

type 1 : Happy, mildly anarchistic music lovers

type 2 : cynical, doom and gloom, continually negative in the guise of being clever and “funny”

I am and prefer the people who fall into catagory 1

Folk, please just learn to enjoy something. In the end this was fun and positive and who cares who did or didn’t make money (though I love the fact shelter made a pile of cash at the most important time of year for them). It’s a great track that I rebought even though I own it in about 3 forms because I found the whole thing full of comedy!!!!

Next year lets go christmassy with the best chrimbo song ever – fairytale in new york oooorrrr Weird Al’s “the night santa went crazy”

This is a real victory for real music, now I’m sick of people saying that this should not be number at Christmas but the thing is due to the shit that the X factor pumps out there has not been a true Christmas Song at Christmas number 1 for years the closest we got was The Darkness as a Christmas Number 2.

Now what I propose for next year is 1 of 2 routes.

1) The Christmas Song Route : Silver Bells: Twisted Sister awesome true jolly Christmas song.

2) The piss take route: Disciple: Slayer Now nothing would be funnier on “Christs” birthday than the line God hates us all and it also brings religion back into Christmas lol!
