Ita annoying in my opinion that there is now another download type fest in the UK with big decent bands playing (sonisphere), because you might really want to see bands at download, or you might want to see the bands at sonisphere.

So, if you can afford two festivals in one year then thats fine, but a lot of people won’t be able to do both due our current financial shitness.

I actually think this enhances the rumours. Most bands who play Download on one day, will be playing shows elsewhere over the weekend. At least this means the band are active that weekend, and I think the chances of a Rammstein appearance at Donnington has increased.

this announcement actually makes it even more possible since now we know that they will be in europe at the that time and are planning on doing festivals.

Sonisphere was not shit Puddy! It was a weekend not to forget. So what if theres less bands? Means you dont have to choose 1 band and forsake another

i doubt that will add a spanner to the works, a quick look at metallica, slipknot, europes festival jaunts show they can easily do two festivals in a weekend in other countries )

They are already playing two festivals the weekend of Download Greenfield and Nova Rock so unless they can move their stage gear real quick, they’re gonna be at Sonisphere with Maiden.

I hope Ramstein do sonisphere but i cant see maiden on the bill firstly they would want to promote their new album proberly do the states denmark and then uk thats how it went on AMOLAD tour if i can remember am a fc member.
