Rob Zombie Explains Album Delay
We get a (sort of) explanation as to why we won’t be getting the Rob Zombie album until early 2010. Read about the possibility of Rob Zombie UK dates next year!
Rob Zombie has spoken to Billboard about why his latest album, ‘Hellbilly Deluxe 2 – Noble Jackals, Penny Dreadfuls and the Systematic Dehumanization of Cool’, has been put back. the album was scheduled to be with us on November 16th but has now been put back to an undisclosed 2010 date.
“Basically the label (Geffen) wasn’t really in a position to promote it or deal with it,” Zombie explained. “It was basically everything, from getting advance copies to the press to…There wasn’t even time to make a video and we were leaving for the tour. There was the sense that every little thing about the record was rushed — not the music, ’cause that was done for a long time, and that was the thing that was so annoying. We spent so much time crafting the record, we didn’t want it to be something that was so chaotic that it became, ‘Oh, that’s done and gone’ two weeks later.”

looking like a june tour and a headline slot at download
Don’t know about headliner, but he certainly merits a main stage slot.
Hell he’d be a good appetizer if Rammstein were to headline!
Could have an Industrial/Electronic metal day with Fear Factory, Rob Zombie, Rammstein, Killing Joke and more on the Main Stage
that would be very cool joel, but i can’t see copping going for a whole day of industrial. still, rammstein, rob zombie, fear factory and killing joke on the same day would be sweet.
