Robert Plant Gets Mercury Music Nod

Robert Plant has been shortlisted for this year’s Mercury Music Prize for his album with country superstar Alison Krauss.
The pair’s ‘Raising Sand’ album will go head-to-head with the likes of Estelle, Radiohead and human warthog Adele.
Plant and Krauss are currently 5/1 favourites along with Arctic Monkey’s side-project The Last Shadow Puppets who are available at the same price.
Krauss and Plant’s venture together has thus far put a full Led Zeppelin reunion tour on the backfoot but as the tour draws to an end, who knows what the future will bring.
