I have been a metalhead since I was 11 and became a Christian at 15. I managed to find a way to make sure my love for metal music and my religious beliefs run parallel (albeit with my faith taking the overall priority). I will admit that some metal I will not listen to because of its dark nature, but that is usually on the extreme side – the black metal bands, the death metal, the gore metal etc.

However, the works of Ronnie James Dio do NOT fall into this category, as far as I’m concerned. I’m not gonna bore you all with the details cause you all know them anyway, but to say that his works praise Satan is a complete disgrace, and I for one am disgusted that these people call themselves Christians, therefore theoretically putting themselves on a par with me.

I for one feel that they are an embarrassment to their religion and hope that they are not supported by other churches across America.
