Slash Hopes ‘Chinese Democracy’ Leaker Rots In Jail
Slash has astonishingly backed Axl Rose to the hilt after several tracks from ‘Chinese Democracy’ were leaked onto the internet over the summer.
This news comes following the announcement that Kevin Coghill, the man accused of leaking the tracks, is facing three years in jail and a fine of $250,000.
Commenting on the incident, Slash has told the Los Angeles Times: “I hope he rots in jail. It’s going to affect the sales of the record, and it’s not fair. The Internet is what it is, and you have to deal with it accordingly, but I think if someone goes and steals something, it’s theft.”
‘Chinese Democracy’ has no release date, Velvet Revolver have no singer, Axl and Slash have a lot of time on their hands…we can dream, can’t we?
