Slash confirms that there are plans to tour his solo album. Download? Sonisphere?
Legendary guitarist Slash has confirmed that there are plans to take his solo album to the masses upon the album’s release.
Speaking on his Twitter, Slash says: “Driving around listening to the analog mixes of my solo record, I gotta say it sounds awesome. The whole self-titled record was recorded analog.
“It will be released March/April. Tour starts around then too. It will be released in all formats, including vinyl.”
What price that Slash makes his way to a UK festival this summer? Would the legendary axe-slinger dare to turn up at Download or Sonisphere with Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas in tow?

Probably – bloody Bjorn Again played at Sonisphere and murdered Metallica tunes so nothing would surprise me anymore. Except Fergie giving birth to a chicken on the main stage, now THAT would surprise me lol =p
To be fair, Bjorn Again did a decent Enter Sandman. And Fergie’s proven she has an awesome rock voice on that cover of Paradise City so i’d be all for it
