Slayer Cancel Canadian Dates

Slayer vocalist/bassist Tom Araya has recently had to cancel shows with throat problems and now the thrash legends have been forced to cancel their upcoming ‘Canadian carnage’ dates with Megadeth, Machine Head and Suicide Silence, as Araya has been sent to see a specialist for back problems.
It’s thought that Araya’s back problems have stemmed from his rigorous performances onstage. As well as cancelling this Canadian run, Slayer have also been forced to cancel a scheduled performance on US chat show ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’.
“What is foremost in our minds right now is that Tom do whatever he needs to to get this taken care of,” said Kerry King. “While all four of us are disappointed that we won’t be able to see through all of our commitments set for the next few weeks, the most important thing is Tom’s health. We thank the fans in Canada and here in L.A., the Megadeth camp, and everyone associated with ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ for their understanding. We look forward to seeing you all soon.”

Back in the day Tom could out windmill although of Amon Amarth & at speed that would make you feel sick just to watch!
Last year at Unholy Alliance he did just stand there which is fine cos its his vocals we go for- I’ve got tix for London -I hope he is ok- Slayeraaaarrrrgggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! Get well soon Tom!
