Slayer/Megadeth Tour To Continue?
Please, please, please come to the UK.
Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo has spoken out about the possibility of Slayer and Megadeth continuing to tour together for the future. After recently completing a run in Canada together and with further shows now booked for Australia, Lombardo has confirmed that there is a chance that the bands will take their tour across the US.
Speaking to the Rock N Roll Experience, Lombardo confirmed: “There are rumors going around that we might be doing something in the States with Mustaine… with Megadeth.”
Dear (dark) Lord, if you’re out there please make this tour come to the UK! Slayer and Megadeth in one evening? Yes, please!

If these two bands have any sense then they will tour the world together.
I don’t have a lot of money, and I don’t go to many concerts, but I would pay to see this.
And then Metallica headlining, now that’d be sweet. Chuck Anthrax in there too and it’d be a droolfest.
Actually “me” – I think you’ll find if Metallica and Anthrax were in on it as well, it would be called “Clash of the Titans”, and we’d all have been magically transported back to the mid-80’s at our current ages – which would be nice, as back then I was about 10 and waaayyy to young to have gone

Megadeth and Slayer will suit me just fine as I think they are the better of the four bands mentioned. That’s not to say I don’t really like Metallica’s older material and I don’t mind a bit of Anthrax.
Slayer and Megadeth would be great though, as a realistic opener I would suggest Testament or Kreator – now that would be a tour.
Ibis – I know it was, it was just that your wording gave the impression I’d suggested a name. And I think it was Testament instead of Megadeth?
Just been looking on the net, and apparently it was Megadeth & Slayer, with (depending on when/where you saw it) 2 of the following: Anthrax, Testament, Suicidal Tendencies, Alice in Chains…
Either way, pretty much all the above and/or TheInnovator’s suggestions would be ace!

Really? I didn’t realise AIC were involved. They were bloody good at Sonisphere, so get them involved too. Never really got into ST, so not bothered about them.
seen something on blabbermouth with an interview wi mustaine and he said there booking a world tour jst now, almost certain to be megadeth slayer in the us and hes thinking of another priest feast style uk tour, which would probs b with slayer agen
Alice In Chains would be a great addition, although I think that a thrash band would fit more with the general feel of things. Any line up that has Megadeth and Slayer would get me very excited and with the exception of Suicidal Tendencies, simply because I haven’t checked them out so cannot comment, any of the mentioned bands would get me even more excited!
Other considerations could be; Exodus, Sodom, Destruction and Evile. To be honest with the popularity of Thrash rising again I could see potential for a one day Thrash event/ long evening.
YES.FUCKING.PLEASE. Would be amazing seeing them together.
As much as I love some of Slayer’s stuff, especially Reign In Blood, I wouldn’t miss them if I didn’t see them because they’ve been part of so many tours and festivals, that I’m a bit Slayer’d out. Plus, they never seem to put on much of a show, just get on with playing which isn’t necessarily bad, but once in a while would be nice.

No thanks. I don’t want to have to put up with seeing Slayer live again. And I wouldn’t want to have to pay extra because of Slayer being there. Megadeth on their own, please.
