slipknot_cov90Slipknot play a rarely-aired track from their latest album, ‘All Hope Is Gone’, on US TV.

Slipknot were the musical guests on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ last week. The band took the opportunity to play ‘Snuff’ from ‘All Hope Is Gone’ and you can get that footage here.

The track has been in the setlist for the band’s latest US tour but is yet to be performed on UK soil.

The one song on the latest album I could live without hearing live…..

I have been waiting quite a while to see that live. This video will have to do :(

that song damn near ruined my life! the album came out when i was in the middle of a ridiculously bad breakup and that song just hurts! wouldn’t mind hearing it live now tho

Snuff is such a great, meaningful song. First time I heard it I didn’t think it was Slipknot haha. This must be the ONLY video that they have of it in good quality or whatever as it wasn’t a single.

king of heavy metal

well seeing as it’s the next single of course they will start playing it more

metalbeast

not my fave song on the album but i’d still like to hear them play it live.

Love this song, alot!

and to have a giant chicken do an intro for them just tops it

Moshtank

love that song
Mick looks pissed about playing it though lol
Then again Mick looks Pissed about everything…..

lol there goes the ‘there are certain members of the band who refuse to play the slower songs’. still havin wached that i think they have a point, not a song designed 2 b played live xcept by corey on his own at sonisphere.

wanted them to play it at download, although i knew it wasnt likely lol

there releasing snuff as a single :) and i love tht song so deep and meaning full i love the heavy stuff but the soft stuff is good to hear now and again

I like thsi song actually, I mean it’s probably more suited to a Stone Sour album but, least it shows their nto all in your face 24/7… lol

When I saw “rare track” I was expecting some cool unreleased b-side or something… this is hardly “rare”. It’s just their next single… so? Oh, and I’m all for a good ballad, but don’t start thinking that the second a band writes one they start becoming deep and shit.

Gematria the Killing Name is the best song from AHIG… too bad they never play it.

noobpotato

Haha they couldn’t of played a song that mis represents slipknot more.

Not really sure why they are releasing this as the next single or why they bothred to play it live on that show because its pretty much just Corey the rest of the band dont do much they should have released Child Of Burning time as the next single to be honest I know its not particullary heavy but at least the other members play on it abit more.

I’m surprised Till We Die isn’t a single actually, but a bonus track on AHIG.

It was their outro music at Download and it’s really become one of my fave songs lately!

I love that song and I love Slipknot, but that was pretty aweful :/

All Hope Is Gone was the worst album released last year next to Guns And Roses. i was soo disappointed by it. i’ll stick with Iowa and Vol3

wow, they played snuff? its one of my faves by them!

Yeah they played it as the first song of their encore in Victoria.
