Slipknot’s Hammersmith Apollo show from December 3rd will be the focus of an upcoming MTV special. The programme, entitled MTV World Stage, will air on March 13th on MTV UK at 11pm.

Slipknot have been confirmed to headline the Saturday night at this year’s Download festival. Check out our opinion on why Slipknot deserve their first ever UK festival headline slot.
Download will take place on June 12th – 14th at Donington and will feature sets from Slipknot, Faith No More, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, The Prodigy, Limp Bizkit, Motley Crue, Marilyn Manson, Korn, ZZ Top, Killswitch Engage, Dream Theater and many, many more.

Well all I can say is that they should of recorded the Manchester show, because as normal it was the maddest show. (Well it looked it anyway seein the youtube vids of other shows).
Everybody always feels their show was the maddest (as normal). After all I was at Glasgow and felt it was mental.
Regardless, the majority of TV stations, recording equipment are based in London, and unfortunately for all of us “Northerners” the media world thinks if it doesn’t happen in London, it doesn’t happen at all.
Shame really, as I’d love to see more shows / live DVDs etc filmed elsewhere in the UK
