Slipknot Release More Self-Titled Album Re-Issue Details
Slipknot have revealed details of a deluxe-edition of their self-titled album to commemorate its 10th anniversary and it sounds killer!
According to Blabbermouth, Slipknot will be releasing a “super deluxe” box set version of their self-titled album to celebrate the seminal album’s 10th anniversary. The box will come in packaging that resembles a safety deposit box and contain a T-shirt, patch, collectible cards, a key chain, a beanie and a note from singer Corey Taylor.
There is yet to be confirmation on how many of these box-set’s will be released and how much the box will cost.
The standard re-release is set to include all new digipack packaging and a total of 25 songs, including the original album plus several previously unreleased cuts and demo tracks.
There will also be a DVD containing “tons” of behind-the-scenes and early live footage. This special, commemorativewas put together by percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan.
Slipknot’s self-titled album will be re-released on September 28th.

It better have something more worth the pennies than that. You got Frail Limp Nursery, Purity, Despise and another few demos on the origonal digipack. It better not just be everything from the Digipacks and singles…

Wow, you have Crowz? Well I am utterly amazed at your ridiculously high level of fandom. Well done for buying a cheap copy of an old demo on eBay, from which a whole 0% of the cost goes to the band!

And what did you get out of it? A beautiful CD-R and some poor quality demos…seriously, I’d rarther buy this and get the clips, the shirt and whatever else I might not already own. I trust Clown to make a good DVD. At least the band will be getting something more out of it. Might sp*r them Clown on for another couple of years.
And BTW, I’d put the cards next to my Pokemon ones, cause we all know that theyr f+cking better. (.Y.)

This better not suck. I have the original Slipknot digipack, Crowz and Mate,Feed,Kill Repeat anyway so if it’s just stuff from those in a shiny new box i’m gonna be very upset
Hell im gona get it. Il admit to skeptasism before but if its not massivly overpriced this looks good! Doubt il get the super delux box, but the digipack with the extra songs and dvd will be great for fans and newbies alike.
(Crowz is shite bytheway, id be more impressed with an original Mate,Feed, Kill, Repeat mainly coz ‘Gently’ is fantastic)
