They also reveal that the DVD portion will be titled, “Of The Sic: A Decade Come And Gone”. A short film by M. Shawn Crahan giving a peek into the surreal and complex time around the release of Slipknot’s debut album. Plus director’s commentary, never-before-seen live concert.
This comes fresh off of the back of last week’s details about a ’special deluxe boxset’ that willl come in packaging that resembles a safety deposit box and contain a T-shirt, patch, collectible cards, a key chain, a beanie and a note from singer Corey Taylor.
Will Slipknot be at this weekend’s Sonisphere festival? Corey Taylor will be playing his first ever UK solo set and Shawn Crahan will be playing with his new band, Dirty Little Rabbits.

Sonisphere will be headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park and will take place on August 1st – 2nd at Knebworth. Also on the bill will be Heaven & Hell, Nine Inch Nails, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Lamb Of God, Alice In Chains, Mastodon, Anthrax, Airbourne, Corey Taylor and Killing Joke.

Wonder how much the super deluxe version is.
Most of the demos were on the origional digipack and remixes were on the singles. Snap is pretty rubbish anyway.
Although good to see they have got Purity back on there, best song on the album imo.
The dvd could be worth a look tho.
I quite liked ‘Snap’. Wasn’t that on the Freddy vs Jason soundtrack too?
slightly disappointed it doesn’t have Frail Limb Nursery too, but I’m happy to see Purity there

I would very much like that Slipknot were in Brazil, the state where I live (Minas Gerais). In Mineirão Stadium.

Meh… In my early teens, Slipknot were my heroes. I fell in love with the track ‘Wait And Bleed’ and decided to buy the album (to my parents’ and neighbours’ despair), but the last few years I’ve just lost touch with this sort of music. And as I used to be a diehard fan, I’ve already got all those bonus tracks anyway.
Don’t get me wrong, I still listen to them from time to time, and its fairly enjoyable, but thats not enough to buy an expensive reissue of an album I’ve already got.
