Sodom shit all over Gwar

Er, yeah. I saw this mob last time they came to England, at the Marquee, supported by Sepultura. Beneath the Remains had recently been released and about 90% of the audience were there to see the new level of metal delivered by Max and co. Sodom played their clumsy breed of noise to an almost empty hall so it’s no surprise they’ve taken so long to return. Redefined thrash? I really, really don’t think so. Now they have the added attraction of being in their 40’s. Should be a great gig. Hope you enjoy it.

Sodom are a very underrated band. This makes Bloodstock even better than the so called big two festivals.

Omerta: sort it out mate!! Yeah, I’ve heard the reports and reviews about how how Seps blew thew them off stage at that gig. It was Sepultura’s defining moment, It’s the point when the world really stood up and took notice of this little band from a 3rd world nation. But don’t bag a band for one bad gig. Sodom are thrash metal God’s and heroes, sadly for them they had a bad night on a night that was a turning point for Heavy Metal.
