Sonisphere will be headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park and will take place on August 1st – 2nd at Knebworth. Also on the bill will be Nine Inch Nails, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Lamb Of God, Alice In Chains, Mastodon, Anthrax, Airbourne, Thin Lizzy, Killing Joke and The Sword.

We’ve decided to go to Dublin for Metallica instead that weekend. 2 Gig tickets + 2 flights + hotel for a weekend in Dublin comes in at the same as two tickets for sonisphere alone.
so a weekend in dublin seeing metallica and drinking lots of guinness or a weekend stuck in traffic followed by sleeping in a tent, seeing metallica and paying £12 a pint for watered down Carling.

totally agree with Bob, were going to the Dublin Metallica gig. It is alot cheaper, that and the fact i cant stands linkin park sold me.
Going to the Barcelona sonisphere gig too, the one day european lineups do look alot stronger than uk.
