Regret buying a weekend ticket. Saturday’s lineup is pretty damn awful.

Both the second stages are awful bar anthrax tbh and also i like how fear factory are on after taking back sunday. lol

What a cynical attempt to force people to go for both days. Why oh why not have Heaven & Hell and Metallica on the same day?! Thousands of people would have bought a day ticket for that and similarly thousands more would surely rather see NIN and Linkin Park. How many people are going to buy a day ticket to see both Heaven & Hell and Linkin Park? Not many I am sure. This has simply split the audience down the middle in an attempt to get more cash. Shame, could have been a great day.

I completely agree with Void, if Heaven & Hell and Metallica played the same day I would have bought a day ticket, as things stand I won’t be going at all.

Not awful, but the organisers should NEVER have hyped this festival so much at the start, ‘cos they just have not delivered the line-up I expected (and it seems a lot of others!)

Thank fuck for Bloodstock. That Saturday mainstage is rather ‘Kerrang’ I fear. Hopefully the 3rd stage will not be a disappointment in the metal stakes.

If you go on the Sonisphere site it says:

“The exact running times are still being finalised , but as previously announced the outdoor stages will be running alternately to avoid scheduling clashes, meaning you will be able to see all 24 of the two main stage bands.”

….so I really don’t get why everyone is complaining!

Thin Lizzy at the bottom of the second stage. Have the organizers ever listened to ‘Live & Dangerous?!’. And don’t get me started on how Anthrax are below The Used… And how this festival’s headliners are not Metallica + Heaven & Hell…

From the way they originally described the festival, id be more annoyed not by the fact linkin park are headliners, but because stages will run alternately, bullet will play above heaven+hell, and avenged sevenfold above NIN!!! What the fuck were they thinkin!?! Probably still buyin a ticket though…

WTF you guys really are a bunch of whining cocks!! This has probably got one of the best line-ups I’ve ever seen! Sure there are bands I dont wanna see, and Linkin Park headlining isnt a good choice. But its got Metallica, Lamb of God, Machine Head, Alice In Chains. Stop your winging, either go or dont!! What I’m annoyed about is still the lack of day tickets, as I cant go for the weekend due to my sis’ wedding on the sat!! Hope they release them soon!
