Sonisphere Reviews: Glamour Of The Kill & Airbourne
Glamour Of The Kill and The Used live from Knebworth!
Glamour Of The Kill
There’s an impressive turnout in the Bohemia tent for Glamour Of The Kill, so if you haven’t checked this band out yet then what the hell are you doing with your lives!? Like BFMV with some fucking songs! The wall of death they call for during their final songs see kids lined up against each side of the tent before they power into each other. You’d be hard pressed to find a better breakthrough performance this weekend.
“If he lets go, he’s dead”, is not something you hear much at a rock show, but Airbourne lead singer [insert name] is hanging 40 feet in the air from the speak set thrashing out one of their monster riffs – so it’s understandable. Rock, with a tinge of impending death.
Awesome! The rain is starting to pour down, but that doesn’t bother the huge crowd that’s turned up to see the Aussie rockers today. Ignoring the camp stage antics, this is band who smash it live and today is no exception.
