This video reduced me to tears. I was in Whitby in September and I left flowers on the memorial seat for Sophie overlooking the harbour.

This could have been any one of us. I wish Sophie and Rob’s friends and family all the very best.

you know how the world has been crying about racism for so many years and how it is the greatest taboo in the world to day, how about the segregation and abuse suffered by people of alternative intrests eg the mighty genre of METAL, gothic culture or anything else. because if you started giving a minority group a load of bullshit or killing them because of their faith or colour in this day and age you would be fucking lynched by the pc squad we call a goverment. but people of alternative lifestyles get harrassed and given constant crap from the rest of the world who are so called “ordinairy people”. ps. a) i am not a racist and i know it is a huge problem worldwide i was just drawing a comparisson b) i was moved by the film for its artistic qualitys and the message. That is so beautiful, I was close to tears.

I hope the people who did this to Sophie see this. And I hope they feel fucking ashamed. I want to see this reach all of the fucking assholes who think hurting someone for how they look is funny, or clever.

Sophie was a beautiful girl, and it’s unbearable to think someone was killed this way. A similar thing happened to me, but luckily not to this extent. I hardly had a scratch. And I fucking went for those bastards who had so little morality as to do that to a girl, to anyone who wants to be who they are.

All my love to Sophie’s family and friends, and good luck with this video! It is truly beautifully made
