Putting them into a pit is easy, do something more original, such as putting them in the middle of a firefight in Iraq without and clothes on and targets painted on them.

Hate to say it, but they won’t serve those sentences. With current guidelines and the way the system worms, realistically the *most* they’ll serve is half what’s laid down. Potentially as little as a quarter and statistically about a third.

All I can say is that I’m glad that only one sentence was reduced, and that only by a token amount. And full marks to the original judge for handing down a very lengthy sentence instead of listening to the bleeding-heart crap from the defence lawyer. He also took into consideration the fact that the daft fuckers sat there grinning through the whole trial obviously showing not one iota of the remorse their counsel was trying to state that they felt.

You know, I was once considering becoming a barrister, but to be quite honest, this just proves that there is no justice in the British ”Justice” System. Getting sentences reduced is a delicate business. However, I don’t know what the court was all smoking or being paid off (oh wait, their chavs, no chance of money, reduce that to just dope then cuase they must be stupid, brainless and all other personifcations of the word stupid that I can think of). But this is plain wrong. 15 Years? That won’t happen. Life doesn’t mean life any more, if it ever did. 15 Years in prison may change someone for a bit, but in the end they all subvert to what it was that made those guys kill poor Sophie in the first place. Just keep them in there, behind cold steel, so the rest of us can sleep a little easier, knowing this innocent girl is at least getting a shred of justice for this.
