We’re going to have to wait a little longer for our Cavalera fix. In the meantime, check out the latest touring webisode from Soulfly.

Soulfly have put their album back by three weeks. ‘Omen’ will now be released on May 24th on Roadrunner and will feature guest spots from Prong’s Tommy Victor and Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato.

The band have also revealed their latest webisode which you can see below.

If I thought it would be anything other than another average mix of heavy riffs, random tribal bits and re-arranged lyrics from previous albums then i’d care…

I love Max and always want to love the new Soulfly album when it comes out but it’s always the same tired un-inspired ‘listen once and never again’ material that makes me wonder why I got sucked in AGAIN!

This year I shall refuse/resist. :-P

the last album from these queers was rather good, I was impressed after going off them.

hope the new album is a killer.

you know what.. That’s great timing as my birthday is the following week so great birthday present omen will make. Soulfly are a great band, not queers.. I have seen them before live twice and both times they have blown the venue apart.. So heres to omen.. I have faith in you guys to deliver..

Soulfly are legends! Far better than Sepultura ever was. None of their albums have been tired or uninspired – in fact, quite the opposite! Every album is filled with inspiration and triumphant liberation of one’s self over heavy, catchy riffs above atmospheric backdrops! Their previous album, “Conquer” was by far their most cliched “for the dumb masses” album (probably why Adrian Blade liked it), but it was still a great listen nontheless.

Soulfly always offer something deeper, more spiritual and more meaningful than 99% of al metal bands today. That’s what metal is supposed to be: to take something tragic or bleak and transform it into something positive and powerful whilst not compromising your integrity and standing firm – showcasing immense talent and creative genius. Therefore, Soulfly IS metal!!!
