Ginger: I think you’re probably one of the greatest songwriters this country has ever produced (when I used to work at Tower Records I stuck on The Wildhearts header card “best English band since the Pistols” and I still stand by that). Does it ever piss you off that cunts like Oasis win awards like the Ivor Novello and all that Britpop shit was so huge back in the early ’90s when anyone can tell that your B-sides are better than anything they could ever come up with? “Sky Babies” is a work of pure genius.
