Steel Panther guitarist Satchel may look like much more of an ‘Appetite For Destruction’ kind of guy but we thought we’d ask the 80’s hair- metal purist what he thought of Axl’s latest opus.

“It should have been done in three years and not 27,” said Satchel. “Some stuff on there I really like, but it’s not every song that I like. There are certain things that I think are really cool, but I didn’t get blown away by the whole record and I wanted to. You can want it too much, y’know?”

Steel Panther will conclude their sold-out tour tonight at Shepherd’s Bush Empire before returning next month to support ZZ Top.
