Suicide Silence Kicked Off US Tour By Megadeth?
It would appear that Dave Mustaine has kicked the deathcore upstarts off of their current US tour. Well, according to various members of SS’s Twitter.
Things started off amicably enough, the official Suicide Silence Twitter had declared: “We’re sorry to announce that we won’t be playing tonight in Reno, NV. Megadeth, Warbringer, and Arcanium will still be there so head out and show your support for those awesome bands!”
Sounds like there’s no bad blood being swilled around the place, right? only the individual members of Suicide Silence’s Twitter suggests something a little more personal is behind this cancellation. First, SS drummer Alex Lopez posted: “Dave Mustaine kicked us off the Megadeth tour cuz he wanted to take our laminates for a little incident weeks ago, so we told him to fuck off.”
This post has since been removed but SS bassist Dan Kelly followed that up with the post: “I would love a fist fight with Dave Mustaine… I hear he is quite good at MMA; I would triangle him in a second!”
This is all speculation, of course, but it probably goes without saying that you shouldn’t expect Suicide Silence to be announced on any Gigantours any time soon!

Suicide Silence only have one good song in my opinion, and thats the song where their vocalists don’t sing, its just a recording of a Police dispatcher trying to calm down a hysterical lady over the phone (something about her friend being dead and the killer is after her… I think) Awesome track, heavy as fuck. But man those guys ruin the songs with their terrible vocals.
Megdeath!!, Mustain!!, what does Suicide Silence think they are, and that bassist want to fist fight Mustain, the best thrash metal guy ever, there is respect that Suicide Silence must learn, they can spend the rest of their career trying to write one song like Megadeth songs,
I saw this show last month. SS was god awful. It was like watching a 4 man synchronized seizure. Their vocalist actually quipped about us being the quietest crowd he’s ever seen. That prompted someone in the back to yell “because you suck” and shortly after people started chanting for Machine Head.
Megadeth kicked ass. \m/
Snore, Suicide Silence. Just another upstart deathcore band pretending to be metal, their albums aren’t even worthy as drinks coasters.
I really can’t wait for the deathcore scene to die. It’s almost like going through nu metal again. Long live the thrash revival.

Suicide Silence were brilliant with Devil Driver in November- Dave Mustaine has got an annoying voice and since now he says he’s a Christian he must be a complete prat- he reminds me of that bloke who used to wear the turquiose shell suit. SS don’t need him!
