i dont get why people insult deathcore, hardcore and grindcore

its still metal, people say tht its emo or scene, i mean i got slagged and called emo and scene for liking suicide silence

its just a band, its still metal.

Because it sounds shit quite frankly.

Death-core just doesn’t have the same feriocity of Death METAL. Yeah sure the vocalists sound pissed off, but they’re not better sounding than a bunch of stroppy teens throwing a fit, as opposed to death metal vocalists who actually sound MONSTEROUS and often quite terrifying.

And if the music’s supposedly so good, why do so many death-core bands need to plaster themselves from head to toe in tattoos, or have such a neatly done hair do? =P

It’s by no means the worst genre of music I’ve ever laid ears on (cue Hollywood Undead, brokenCYDE and any other crunk bands etc etc), but this is not extreme compared to other bands such as say Nile or The Berzerker.

What do you mean they don’t sound monstrous? if anything they sound like pretty damn stroppy teenage monsters, suicide silence is the best death-core band ever in my opinion, im thrilled their new album’s finally out

Oh god where do I start with this;

For a start, lead singer is a complete prick. They’re deathcore, end of story and they have to fucking accept that. It’s their genre and it’s not necissarily a bad one; just a contraversial one. They’ve not thought out of the box at. Black Dahlia Murder can be considered DeathCore, but they made it their own, Suicide Silence are your average scene kids trying to look cool, and you can see it. The other major problem i have with them is the amount of fucking scene kids and hardcore dancers they attract to their gigs, makes you want to puke. They’re a disgrace to bands they share a stage with and to the people that ARE metal and that want to have a PIT rather than stumbling about like a complete asstard. I just don’t understand how anyone who likes any other deathcore at all or any Death Metal or any other metal genre or any other extreme form of metal band can possibly find a reason to listen to some twat scene kid growling “Pull the Trigger Bitch” and find it “cool” -_-;; Worst band to ever walk the planet imo, an utter disgrace to all that is metal, should stop what they’re doing right now while the scene population is growing rapidly. Maybe then the real metal heads can have a good pit or 2.
