Sylosis Added To Bloodstock Bill

With a line-up boasting headline appearances from Opeth, Children Of Bodom, Fear Factory, Twisted Sister, plus a special guest slot filled by Meshuggah, Bloodstock is the place to find the best names in the world of metal. Which makes BOA very similar to Metal Hammer, as we have just chosen the final slot for the Sophie Lancaster stage.

Reading modern thrashers Sylosis have been awarded the prestigious slot, hand-picked by Hammer editor Alexander Milas, who states:

“As a band on the bleeding edge of metal, Sylosis are one of the UK’s finest talents and their show should be nothing left than necksnapping. Mosh ahoy!”

The band themselves appreciate the opportunity. Currently working on material for their new album,  guitarist/frontman Josh Middleton took time out to tell us:
“We’re honoured to be picked for this years bloodstock. It’s our first time attending let alone playing so we’re excited to check it out. Tons of bands we love are playing too so we’ve a lot to look forward to.”

Arceye is a four-piece death/thrash metal band from Shrewsbury UK. Since they formed in 2004 with a hand full of riffs and heavy fucking music as their drive, they have been relentlessly unleashing their blend of extreme metal to the masses!

In 2009 they released their debut album ‘The Divide Between Chaos & Order’ which was very well received by both fans and critics, soon after they supported artists such as Finntroll, Decapitated, Man Must Die and Kataklysm. Now they also have ex The Hollow Earth Theory drummer Craig McKay on drums and continue to play their brand of extreme metal all over the UK!
