System Of A Down Frontman Pours Cold Water On Reunion Rumours

System Of A Down frontman Serj tankian has cooled talk of a System of A Down reunion.
Following some posts from SOAD bassist Shavo Odadjian on his Twitter, it seemed a possibility that System Of A Down would get back together sooner rather than later.
Enter SOAD frontman Serj Tankian to pour a little cold water on this rumour. “We always have offers to play, from festivals and stuff, but we have not decided to do anything as of yet,” Serj tells Billboard.com. “We’re in touch. We talk. We call it an indefinite hiatus, and that’s how we still look at it. Nothing’s really changed.”
This would seem to pretty much rule out a System Of A Down reunion this summer. God dammit.

kinda makes sense. Serj has a big year ahead for his solo career. SOAD reunion would just either suck or his solo work would suffer. id rather wait for SOAD to put something great together rather than just something mediocre

And I agree, if Serj’s solo album will suffer, its probably best delay a re union until next year.

Don’t get me wrong, I would like SOAD to reunite again. But I don’t think they would make a great album. It hasn’t got any better since their first two albums. I hope they prove me wrong, I really do.
