TesseracT have revealed former First Signs of Frost vocalist Dan Tompkins as their new vocalist.

Dan said “It’s an incredible, exciting and rare privilege to be fronting TesseracT. The pieces fit and everything has fallen into place perfectly. It’s been such a challenge to write vocals for such emotional and complex music, an opportunity of which I’ve waited so long for. I’ve pushed boundaries and I’m proud to say that the vocals on this album are the best I’ve ever written. It all sounds immense.”

Tompkins will make his live debut at the Hammer-sponsored Hellfire festival and you can hear what to expect from him on ‘Lament’, available only on the CD with this month’s Metal Hammer – on sale now.
