System has Failed is such a good album, it should be above at LEAST Risk, Cryptic Wrings and The World Needs a Hero,

I’m suprised how highly Cryptic Writings scrored, I thought everyone hated that album but for the songs they play live like She Wolf and Trust.

When this poll first started Risk was the runaway leader no doubt due to the hilarity of voting for Megadeth’s worst album. Not that I did so. Honest.

Cryptic Writings and Risk should be the bottom two albums.

I agree with ‘Rust in Peace’, however ‘Endgame’ absolutely shreds and I think once the initial ‘people only like it because its new’ stigma wears off, it may one day be considered the best Megadeth album.

So i’m the only one who thinks tShF is an unsung masterpiece? For me it would be more like:

Apart from the last two, however, I consider none of them bad as such – all of them are masterpieces and it’s verry hard to prioritise.

rust in peace is a classic, as is so far so good so what, endgame is alright, but again mirrors what ‘tallica have done by going back to go forward, mustaine still a much better writer of good tunes,but lately there are less big tunes on each album, but the album taken as a whole is very strong. probably better than 95% of the stuff churned out by other bands all year. judging all the ‘deth albums, how many of the recent album tracks would make it onto a “greatest hits” cd.? not that many i would guess.

everyone seems to have missed the point, its not a list of best to worst, its just which is the best, and very few people will consider anything other than peace sells or rust in peace. obviously people voted for risk just to take the piss. and why no mention of hidden treasures? its ace!

UA should of least been in the top 5. Blessed are the dead, gears of war and the title track, are classic deth. A mixture of thrash and melodies that always harmonises every time you give the cd a spin. Anyway heres my top ten…..1 peace sells, 2 so far so good, 3 united abominations, 4 countdown, 5 rust, 6 kib, 7 system, 8 risk, 9 cryptic writings, 10 youthanasia. Engame i have yet to hear but if the stuffs like headcrusher then itle definatly be in the top 5.
