Bullshit that Metallica are barely recognised – why put them with Black Sabbath and offer the poll to a British audience. No prizes for guessing what patriotism would do!!! Another example – Motorhead better than AC/DC? Really???

Meagredeath do not deserve to be in there at all – seriously weak band.

I’d have expected Maiden to win hands down and Metallica second at the very least with Sabbath and AC/DC following.

To the fucking oafs who say Rainbow isn’t metal, they are among the few guys pioneered the thick metal sound way back when and had a few speed metal songs here and there.
Isn’t it Speed influencing Thrash in turn influencing Groove? Dipshits.
There’s a difference between the thick “heavy metal” sound and the loud “hard rock” sound. Which is why Purple and Led Zepp deserve to be there, though they have very few metal songs.
Though Pantera and Megadeth do deserve to be up there. anyway Up the Fuckin’ Irons!

As big a fan as I am, I don’t think KISS will be in the top 2. It comes down to either Sabbath or Maiden for me, if either one of them emerges triumphant then I’m happy.
