Right now that in order, yes actually i agree with those who say more underground bands should get exposure in the mag and on the website… But i still side with the fact that commerce is the only way bands can make the big money… Its a tough industry and im not gonna be as shallow minded as that Dickhead Dave, and say bands like Metallica and Metal Hammer are sellouts. They bring us a medium of Metal music that suits the majority of the audience and makes the biggest profit possible. Its in their interest to do what is good for them and make the best choices they can to further their careers.

Metallica toured for 3 years straight in the early 90’s with the Black Album… The stress that put on them 4 lives in my opinion wasnt worth the success of the record… but then thats the price they paid to be famous and have their bands name known for the rest of time. Not many metal bands will leave that kind of legacy in this world… So good on them for making the most of it… I hope it continues.

I wish people would stop disrespecting Enter Sandman, that’s the song that got me in to metal!

Why, when Judas Priest release ‘British Steel’ they are hailed as metal gods, but when Metallica release ‘Metallica’ they are considered sellouts? They’re both fantastic albums, but I don’t understand why they are seen differently when they both did musically pretty much the same thing…
