Washington thrash icons Mace have reunited over two decades since they split! Nice.

Thrashers, fists up! Innovative Washington mob Mace are back!

Emerging as one of the first notable names in the early thrash scene, Mace first formed back in 1982, breaking up seven years later after recording just two full-length albums together.

Now the band are back, and guitarist Dave Hills reckon they’re ready to show the younguns how to kick some ass.

“I always wanted to remix the old songs,” he says, “and when I opened my own studio I had to do it, and it was so much fun that we thought we would try a new song, and that was so much fun that we said why not teach these young kids how it was done back in the day”.
