Why are you saying the Dragonforce tour as though it was a bad thing. you sponsored it MH, at the gigs, there were big banners draped in the buildings with METAL HAMMER in BIG letters written on it….. plus the promotion done in magazines, full page adverts with tour dates, and now its a ‘bad present’…..right.

I got 14 hole Doc Martens from my usually non-metal but very understanding and long suffering hubby (he likes AC/DC and Within Temptation but that’s as far as he goes, bless him)! They fucking ROCK! Oh, and I got an awesome AC/DC DVD from my best male mate. I got hubby the autobiography of Brian Johnston from AC/DC and I’ll read it after he’s finished.

My worst present, if it was given to me (I don’t think anyone would be that stupid) would be the back catalogues of Paramore, MCR, Fall out Boy, Panic at the Disco, You Me at Six and of course Madina Lake. Oh, and front row tickets to WESTSHITE who are the epitome of pop evil and if I ruled the world I’d ban the fuckers immediately. Ewww.

@ king of heavy metal – Dragonforce are a lot better than they used to be, especially now theyre sober when they go on stage: they are a lot tighter playing-wise and put on really good live shows nowadays. If I had had the money I wouldve gone on tour to see them, no sweat.

Elliott: I’ve seen Dragonforce 5 times (first in January 06, most recent in December 08) and the first is still by far the best: it was just a lot more spontaneous, and the setlist was a lot more varied

I got the reunion album from black sabbath, somewhere in time by iron maiden, new phone, £200 cash, Transformers 2 DVD, Star wars original box set DVD’s, Soap , Assassins Creed 2 and modern warfare 2.
