Trent Reznor Enters The Studio

But what is he recording for?
Trent Reznor has posted on his Twitter account that he is back in the studio working on new material. The question being, is this a new NIN album, a solo venture or something else that nobody is yet aware of?
The full Tweet reads: “1st official day of work in the studio.”
Cryptic indeed.
As is well publicised, NIN will not be touring any more but this isn’t to say that they won’t release new material. Wouldn’t it be textbook Reznor to drop an album of Fragile-esque brilliance and then not tour it?

well, he told kerrang that there would be 2 albums this year, one NIN one other..
Hammer yourself reported a few weeks ago that he would be recording material for a new NIN album.

if me =1 and a studio=x. work could be done in the form of 1x.
now then, I think that^ would be a much more interesting post.
well they are re-releasing the fragile as a 10th anniversary thing with loads of bonus material so i would expect he is working on that
I got four Nine Inch Nails albums and thought they were excellent. The rest were powerfully disappointing.

@rElph, if you have only got four of his albums how can you say the rest are disappointing if you dont have them?

i wish it was the promised numan collaboration as well, but i dont think that’s likely since numan is still in the UK (as far as I know), and Jane’s Addiction are going to australia so its not them….its either rebuilding the fragile, new nails/solo, or (please no) he is working on his girlfriend’s material.
The last 3 cd’s have been pathetic!
