Trent Reznor: “There is no new NIN record “No album ready to drop”

trent90Contrary to what Metal Hammer has heard, Trent has said that the reports are false…

On Monday Metal Hammer reported that there was a new Nine Inch Nails album ready to drop.

As you would expect, word spread excitedly. Enough so that Trent Reznor responded to the report, though sadly in the negative, saying: “There is no new Nine Inch Nails record “ready to drop”. I have no idea where this got started.”

Hammer is checking with its source on the story and asking whether there IS an album, but that it’s just not “ready to drop.” Or whether it is an album, just not a Nine Inch Nails one, afterall Trent has recently said: “I’ve got a number of things lining up to start working on post NIN tour already, including a secret music project outside nine inch nails I’m very excited about. I can’t tell you anything about it yet or who’s involved but I’ll give you a hint: I’m marrying one of the participants. More soon (maybe).”

He just continues to say things to stay relevant. The only reason he got with vapid whore is for PR. I work with these kind of delusional people. I can lend them both a horse to ride off into the sunset and good riddance.

He’s working on an album with “someone he is marrying” or something to that extent.

He also has mentioned a Deluxe Edition of The Fragile is in the works at the meet and greets before shows.
