We want Travis’s point of view! and it implies Travis either isn’t very well or is going thru something hard in his life. I have much more respect for him in this matter and I’ve gone off Trivium partly because of his treatment. Sorry but its for good of integrity!

Just listened to the new track, after watching that terrible and sloppy video of him drumming here is yet more proof that studio wizardry can save the day! His attempt at a blast beat still sounds shit.

Also what happened to pretending to be a young James Hetfield and “we’re not screaming on songs anymore, screaming sucks” which that monkey looking singer went on about when they released The Crusade? What you mean is “we’re dropping the screaming in hopes that we’ll become more mainstream and make more cash. Oh that didn’t work? We better go back to shouting to get the metal kids interested again.”

At the end of the day they’re a dull band, Ascendancy was a good album, after that they became like all the others churning out soulless unimaginative “thrash”

I think we need to hear Travis side of the story because at first they told us he was getting married and that was the reason he quit the band…..Nick is not that bad of a drummer… that will be decided when the new record comes out… but if Matt said they were losing their “energy” on stage that is not the drummer fault… it the whole band….

I love Travis, I think hes an amazing drummer, but if it takes that long to get yourself together then how are you gonna be able to play in a band, you guys dont have bands, you cant possibly understand.

And enough with the “GO BACK TO ASCENDANCY” bullshit, it wasn’t that great of an album, they have only matured and have become twice the band they once were. For the record, that album was overrated and Shogun was twice the album that Ascendancy was, get over it.

In a year he will start his own band which will become successful, and cary the grudge of being fired for 30 years and have red hair and a drug problem until he finds Jesus, ya’ll just wait and see…

In all honesty, original members or not, they gained success from the line-up they’ve had since Ember To Inferno. It makes no difference who played guitar or sang before Matt. As far as I’m concerned, Trivium still has it’s ‘original’ members (the ones who made it a success. Except for Travis, obviously :/

It sucks that Travis got fired, but without knowing what things were like (by the sound of it they were all getting pissed off at each other) it’s hard to judge.

Watched trivium yesterday you couldn’t be more wrong about nick. He played really well.

I agree sacking him over the phone is a bit harsh. The truth in all this will come out eventally when Travis addresses it.

guys, the fighting started during the recording of Shogun, if you watch it Travis started bitching about their B-Sides and didn’t want to record them again, and the rest of the band were getting pretty pissed. Anyways Acsendancy was alright, but Shogun kicks it’s ass. I love Travis, but I, as a guitarist, take Matt’s side, and the whole band wouldn’t agree to fire Travis unless it was legit. So fuck yourselves.

the drumer holds the band together when on stage…if the drummer is sloppy then the band can’t play….and yea agree with The Showstopper, the fightin started on Shogun’s recordin when Travis was bein lazy to do his job.
