Lars Ulrich and Robb Flynn have both been sharing the love for the UK, as they prepare to close out their European run together in the UK this week.
“The UK was the first place in the world that really got Metallica, so it always holds a really special place in our hearts,” the Metallica sticksman remembers fondly. “When we play there, it’s like going home almost.”
Robb Flynn simplifies everything into one simple sentence: “We intend to go in there and destroy everything!”

Sonisphere will be headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park and will take place on August 1st – 2nd at Knebworth. we in the uk appreciate good music and we appreciate the effort US metal bands make to get here and entertain us- especially Machine Head who seem to have been here more than anywhere else in the past few years- looking forward to seeing yous all on saturday.
