Vai Covers ‘Beat It’ As Tribute To Jacko

Guitar god Steve Vai has joined in the many tributes to the recently deceased Michael Jackson by covering ‘Beat It’ in his own virtuoso style.Steve was joined by Andy Timmons for the performance at the Meinl Guitar Festival in Bayern, Germany.
Vai tore through an instrumental version of the song embellishing with his trademark soloing and embarrassing Fall Out Boy (who also covered the song in 2008) in the process.
The death of The King of Pop on June 26th has provoked outpourings of grief from many members of the rock community including Brian May and Slash.
