Wacken Sells Out
If you’ve not already purchased your tickets for this year’s Wacken festival then prepare to be disappointed because the metal festival has now completely sold-out. It’s no surprise with a bill like this.Already announced for this year’s festival: Amon Amarth, Axel Rudi Pell, Bullet For My Valentine, Cathedral, Callejon, DragonForce, Einherjer, Epica, GWAR, Hammerfall, In Extremo, In Flames, Kampfar, Korpiklaani, Machine Head, Motörhead, Napalm Death, Nevermore, Tristania, Volbeat, Walls Of Jericho.
This year’s festival season is looking particularly strong with Bloodstock announcing Satyricon, Amon Amarth, Saxon and The Haunted amongst others, Rock Am Ring announcing a stellar starting line-up (the festival takes place the week before Download so read into that what you will) and Download having its first major rumour of the year.

Thankfully I got my tickets not long after we came back from last year’s Wacken!
Looking forward to quite a few of the bands listed so far, especially Machine F**king Head
Bollocks. I wasn’t that keen on last year’s line-up to make it worth getting a ticket (although it did sell out bloody early then). Had I seen just the handful of bands listed above, however, I’d have been damn tempted to get a ticket for this year.
That line-up’s going to piss on Download if the current rumours are to be believed.
Wacken has indeed “sold out”. The state of the bands so far. Fucking shit. This festival has gone so downhill.
