Summer Slaughter UK Announced

Tuesday, June 10th, 2008

Suicide Silence have been announced as headliners of the first ever Summer Slaughter tour to hit the UK.

Speaking exclusively to ‘Hammer, Suicide Silence man Mike Bodkins said “Back to the UK! We never get sick of that place and we’re very pleased to be a part of this incredible lineup being featured on the UK’s very first Summer Slaughter tour. If you thought the Parkway Drive tour was crazy, this one’s really going to raise the bar. The UK fans have been amazing and we encourage everyone to come hang out with us late this Summer. See you soon!”

Joining Suicide Silence will be As Blood Runs Black, Abigail Williams, Born Of Osiris, Annotations Of An Autopsy and The Berzerker.

Chris and Sal from As Blood Runs Black have said “We’ve been anxiously awaiting the moment we could step foot in the UK and what better way to do so then as a part of the Summer Slaughter Tour?
After being on last year’s US version, we can only imagine how great this UK version is going to be. It’s going to be a great tour with good friends and new experiences. We are looking forward to sharing good music and good times with everyone in the UK!”

Equally excitable is Abigail Williams man Ken Sorceron who says ” It feels like forever since Abigail Williams lasted visited the UK. We’ve made some changes, recorded our debut full-length, and should be set to release it to the masses sometime surrounding the Summer Slaughter tour. We look forward to partying in the UK with Suicide Silence once again as well as all of the other great bands on the bill. This tour is going to be one to remember.”
