UK hopes Glamour Of The Kill are all set to release their debut mini-album on June 23rd through Siege Of Amida records.
“It will be a self-titled mini-album and we’re all really excited about getting our sound out there.’ says guitarist Chris Carnage in an exclusive Hammer interview. ‘You can expect epic choruses, lots of harmonies, riffing and a hint of brutality.”
Having been heralded by the ‘Hammer for great things for quite some time now, the boys from York have also been confirmed to be opening the mainstage on June 15th at this year’s Download festival. Following on from the immense boost the same slot gave Trivium a few years ago, is a huge rise to fame on the cards for the Glamour Of The Kill posse?
“We have strong belief in the music we write, so yeah would like to think this could be a large step in the right direction,’ says guitarist Chris Carnage. ‘I’d be lying if I said we wern’t nervous, after all it is gonna be the biggest crowd we’ve ever played to. However we’re more excited about getting the chance to kick-start the day and wake up a few thousand hungover metallers!”
